The owner and lead stylist of Nero Hair Salon in Coconut Grove, with 23 years of experience in the beauty industry and a lifelong connection to Miami.
As Milbon’s national artistic educator for Liscio Japanese Hair Straightening, Joseph is recognized across the country for his deep expertise and commitment to excellence—having performed the treatment daily for over two decades.
His education includes elite programs with Redken Exchange in New York, Schwarzkopf’s Master Colorist series, and over 16 years as a platform artist for L’Oréal, where he trained hundreds of stylists nationwide. Joseph brings precision, passion, and genuine care to every client experience, rooted in gratitude and a desire to elevate others. When he’s not behind the chair, you’ll find him skydiving, hiking, cooking, baking, or exploring new places around the world.

Joseph served as a national educator for L’Oréal’s PureOlogy brand, training thousands of salon professionals at more than 100 salons nationwide.
Joseph opened his current salon in 2013 with one core purpose - To empower, educate, and equip all clients with the beautiful, straight hair they have always wanted.
Pioneering his passion for quality, care, and expertise, Joseph began gaining traction quickly as people began experiencing his expertise and craft.
